- About Dr. Bijaya Ketan Panigrahi
Dr. Bijaya Ketan Panigrahi is a distinguished professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at IIT Delhi, where he has been a faculty member since 2005. He is also the founding head of the Centre for Automotive Research and Tribology (CART) and holds the Indu Shrivastava & Serla Singh Chair Professorship in Artificial Intelligence.
Before joining IIT Delhi, he served as a faculty member at the University College of Engineering, Burla (1992-2005). His research focuses on artificial intelligence applications in power systems, fault diagnostics, and electric vehicles. Dr. Panigrahi has made significant contributions to the detection and classification of power quality events, diagnostics of induction motor drives, and EV motors.
